Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Seasons Greetings! Christmas day is just one week away, and two weeks from now, 2016 will be nothing but a memory. Can I get a Hallelujah?!
We hope you enjoy this final Misfit Memo of 2016, where we highlight our “greatest hits” of the past week. Don’t forget to scroll down to check out our latest blog posts! Oh, and May the Force Be With You. So let’s get this party started. The week kicked off much like the entire month before it, with people still clutching their pearls over the election results, and blaming anyone and anything other than the one person most responsible for the Democrat loss: Hillary Clinton.
Trump chose former Texas Gov. Rick Perry to be secretary of energy, which caused the usual fits on the left, and cheers from the right.
The newest Star Wars movie, Rogue One was released, and Vox out-Voxed itself, publishing a piece entitled: “Rogue One is the first Star Wars movie to acknowledge the whole franchise is about war.” Nope, not a joke.
Martin Sheen and other “celebrities” made an inadvertently hilarious video begging the Republican electors to vote against Trump.
Newsweek “journalist” (LOL) Kurt Eichenwald was a guest on the Tucker Carlson show, where he completely lost his mind. If you haven’t seen it - watch it now. After he lost his mind there, he then went to Twitter where he continued his meltdown with a crazed Tweetstorm, wrapping it up by accusing another Twitter user of causing him to have a seizure with a gif. ALL. THE. LULZ.
National Geographic has gone full SJW. Their January issue features a nine-year-old transgender kid on the cover. So edgy.
In some exciting news, one of our very own Misfits, Dan, hit the big time! One of his tweets got picked up for use by Jake Tapper of CNN, who kindly asked permission. YES, that Jake Tapper! Way to go, Dan!
Here are some of our random observations and thoughts that defy categorization.
