Welcome to the #MisfitMemo Weekly Rewind, a time where we take our favorite tweets and blog posts from the week and put them all in one place. Your one-stop place for Misfit Greatest Hits!
So take a seat, put your feet up, pour yourself a drink, and let’s get started. Last week got off to a tragic start, with a shooting at a Quebec City mosque. As usual, the media jumped on it without any solid information whatsoever.
President Trump fired acting Attorney General Sally Yates for "refusing to enforce a legal order designed to protect the citizens of the United States," according to the WH. She became an instant hero/martyr of the left. We were unimpressed.
Trump nominated Neil Gorsuch to fill the U.S. Supreme Court vacancy on Tuesday night. Most conservatives were ecstatic. Liberals, in a totally shocking reaction (LOL), lost their minds, again (they keep doing this, it's kind of embarrassing at this point).
Violent riots broke out at UC Berkeley ahead of a planned (then canceled) appearance by Milo Yiannopoulos. Far-left “Antifa” thugs caused $100,000 worth of damage to the campus. They set fires, broke windows, pepper-sprayed and beat Trump supporters, among other wholesome activities.
Sarah Silverman and Debra Messing bravely stepped up to the plate to be cheerleaders for the violent mob.
