Welcome to the third edition of the Misfit Weekly Rewind – where we collect some of our favorite tweets and posts of the week to share with you. This past week was uh, something else. An unprecedented whirlwind of dread, drama, discord, and for some, DOOM.

The fun started well before election day, when @cdpayne79 noted that a cartoonist predicted this campaign decades ago (no, not Scott Adams).
Then there was the terrifying moment when Trump was nearly “assassinated” by a….cardboard sign. Yeah, that happened.
After nearly a year and a half of national psychosis and angst, Election Day was upon us. Breathless rumors of voter fraud were circulating social media, so we thought we’d have some fun with it. Some took these seriously and forwarded them to the @FBI, which made it all the more hilarious.
We Misfits had generally assumed/expected a Hillary win, so when Trump started pulling ahead, we were flabbergasted, but nevertheless comically entertained.
Sally Kohn was having a hard time. We didn’t have much sympathy, though.
We might have indulged in a bit of schadenfreude. Just a wee bit.
After the election, the nation was in a state of shock. But Misfits don’t take things too seriously, so...
We had some superb suggestions for Trump’s cabinet picks.
In a shocking, totally unexpected turn of events, Liberals went completely batshit crazy when it dawned on them that they did not get their way. Protests - some turning into violent riots - began spreading across major cities.
Since it’s obviously a time for healing, here is an important message for America:
