Welcome to a very special edition of the #MisfitMemo! Every now and then something happens that just can't wait until the weekly wrap up and deserves its own post. So here we go!
Yesterday Louise Mensch dove further into the conspiratorial pool with several tweets:

Twitter immediately pounced, natch, and we Misfits rarely pass up an opportunity to mock.
And just like that, a viral hashtag was born. Andrew and Jenn kicked it off and soon the rest of the Misfits were joining the fun.
With the help of some of our awesome Tweeps, #MenschAMovie really started to pick up steam.
The trending began and some bluechecks joined the fun.
The hashtag even made it to #1 for a while. NBD.
Loopy Lou herself caught wind and out came the amateur internet investigators determining the source of #MenschAMovie as Russian trolls and bots!
EVERYTHING'S A CONSPIRACY!
Yep, that's right. Time to come clean.
@MisfitsPolitics is actually an underground gang of Russian spies and bots! MUAHAHAHA! But as we sign off, we sincerely tip our hats to everyone who participated in the fun that was #MenschAMovie.
And we owe this person a drink. Cheers!
