Democrats have rolled out their new outreach for 2017 and it includes traditional leftist strategies, including accusing Americans of racism and sexism. Obama-era Democrats will be pleased to find “hating America” is also back in full form after downplaying the core Democrat value during the election year. The “we hate America” narrative was kicked off by questioning the use of the American flag at baseball games, but that received mixed reviews.
Mourning terrorists has also returned, with a twist of lamenting the expense of bombs. The new and improved Christian shaming is complex, involving both the mocking of Christians and the accusation of Christians not being Christian. The rules for identifying as Christian depend upon your circumstances. The standard trolling of Christians on Holy Days is encouraged.
But it's not all old school: The new edgy outreach includes an increased amount of cursing. From senators to the DNC, the use of sh*t and f*ck is finding its way into liberal verbiage.
Another new and exciting addition is the Communist / Socialist photo op with a statue that was funded by a capitalist investment firm (irony unintended). Also, in a daring move, Democrats invested a huge amount of both money and ‘celebrity capital’ in winning an inconsequential house seat for one district in Georgia with a candidate who didn't live there. Liberal celebrities have failed to take the hint and they continue to campaign for candidates and mock Americans.
While the new efforts don't have broad appeal, it hasn't stopped Democrats from patting themselves on the back and declaring victory.
